OFFICE MANAGER 

 

ABOUT JAJA 

 

Jaja is an innovative UK based consumer finance business, leading initially with a digital credit card launched in 2018, and a pipeline of consumer finance solutions in the making. Working closely with our scheme provider and leveraging our own consumer credit license authorised by FCA, we are challenging an industry that has seen little real innovation in nearly twenty years. 

In July 2019 Jaja led a consortium which purchased the Bank of Ireland credit card portfolio, investing over £0.5bn. It also resulted in fresh investments in Jaja from major Private Equity funds who have recognised the change that Jaja is bringing to the market 

 

As a result, the business is growing rapidly and we are on the lookout for great talent across the organisation 

 

About the role

We will delight our customers – making the customer experience simpler, more enjoyable, more intelligent – treating customers fairly and giving them more control of their money. 

 

We’re looking for a focused professional who is ready to lead by example and is used to rolling up their sleeves to get things done. The successful candidate will help us confidently flip questions into solutions and work with the team to join us as our Office Manager.  

   

What you’ll be doing (including but not limited to the following): 

   

  • Manage all Office Account Central activities:
  • Adding & removing personnel access passes
  • Credits, billing & invoice administration
  • Arrange for ad-hoc employee guest access to the building
  • Sign in ad-hoc employee guests as required
  • External visitor registration and collection from reception 
  • Be the main contact with the share building for all office issues 
  • Paper handling (scanning, filing and shredding) 
  • Support Induction and onboard of employees to the office
  • Conduct regular reviews with employees& the shared office supplier in relation to how office space is working and follow up as necessary.  
  • Ensure that all JaJa owned office equipment is in good working order and that any escalated issues are closed out  
  • Ensure that all new joiners who are based in the office are aware of office protocols and key emergency procedures 

 

 

Experience & Qualifications required: 

 

  • Previous Office Management or Senior Reception experience
  • Experience working within a WeWork or Collaborative Office Space environment (Preferred)
  • The ability to work effectively with various business functions
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and manage time effectively
  • Ability to interact and work alongside key stakeholders
  • hands on attitude…we’re a small team and we will need you to roll your sleeves up
