ABOUT JAJA

Jaja is a consumer finance business, launching its first product, a digital credit card, in 2018. Since then it has grown rapidly and has recently completed the acquisition of a multi-£000m credit card portfolio. With backing from several major Private Equity funds, Jaja has an ambitious growth strategy that includes providing consumer finance in partnership with leading consumer brands, with a number of partnerships secured alongside an exciting pipeline of opportunities.

Jaja is on a mission to redefine the consumer finance experience and liberate customers from needless complexity, wasted time, and frustration. Or as we say it, Make Simple. We will delight our customers – making the customer experience simpler, more enjoyable, more intelligent – treating customers fairly and giving them more control of their money.

DESCRIPTION OF THE BUSINESS UNIT

As a credit card provider, the security of customer data is critical to everything we do at Jaja. The InfoSec business unit works alongside our technology teams to secure products developed using the latest technologies and works collaboratively across all business units to support and enable Jaja’s rapid pace whilst safeguarding systems and data.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Jaja Finance is looking for an Application Security Specialist who can ensure that our products are secure by default and secure by design.

The ideal candidate won’t be limited to working with development teams and will be equally comfortable carrying out Open Source Intelligence Gathering to support their work in identifying and mitigating the threats to Jaja’s systems and its customers' data.

They’ll also be able to work with product teams to identify potential threats and to define security requirements from the outset.
